The Harbor Housing Relief Grant is a one-time payment that helps renters who have fallen behind on rent stay in their homes. The grant is paid directly to your landlord.
The grant covers up to $3,500 of unpaid rent. It is paid once per household; a household that has received the grant before cannot receive it again for 36 months.
You must rent your home in Harbor County under a current written lease, be at least one full month behind on rent, and your household income must be at or below 60 percent of the county median income.
Applications are accepted from March 1 through September 30 each year, or until the year's funds run out, whichever comes first. A complete application is processed within 21 days.
