TASK 1: POST THE "MIRRORS VS SEATBELTS" TWEET (15 min, PRIORITY #1)

The Tweet

This is tweet 10 in the @sipiteno thread (reply to tweet 9, the $2,800 Challenge):

Important: The tweet tags no specific competitors by handle (to avoid flagging), but names them by category (observability tools). The "Mirrors vs Seatbelts" framing is the line in the sand.

2A. Patch the landing page (public/index.html)

Read the current file and update:

  1. Title tag: <title>AgentShield, The Safety Layer for Autonomous AI</title>
  2. Meta description: The safety layer for autonomous AI. Per-transaction enforcement that blocks runaway agents before they execute. Kill switch. Emergency scanner. 56 eval scenarios.
  3. H1 headline: "The Safety Layer for Autonomous AI"
  4. Subheadline: "AgentShield blocks runaway API calls BEFORE they execute. Kill switch. Emergency scanner. No dashboards. No 3 AM alerts. Just hard limits that prevent the damage."
  5. Hero CTAs:

2B. Add the kill switch to the landing page

Add a section after the "How It Works" section:

2C. Update the other pages

For each of these pages, update the header/branding:

  • /the-2800-story, Add kill switch mention in the solution section
  • /challenge, Add kill switch to the offer stack
  • /audit, Mention "kill switch + enforcement rules" in deliverables
  • /free-audit, Mention "emergency scan + kill switch" in what you get

Use read_file + patch for each. Don't rewrite entire files, just update the key phrases.

2D. Deploy

TASK 3: UPDATE PyPI TO v1.2.0 WITH KILL SWITCH (20 min, PRIORITY #3)

4A. Create the bounty issue

### The Challenge
Find a transaction that SHOULD be blocked by AgentShield's rules engine but ISN'T.

If you can construct a transaction + rules combination where the engine SHOULD block/flag the transaction based on the rule logic, but the engine returns APPROVED instead, you win $1,000.

### Rules
1. Transaction must have valid required fields (amount, merchant, category)
2. Rules must be valid (correct type, correct params structure)
3. Engine's decision must be WRONG (should have blocked/flagged but didn't)
4. Bug must be reproducible via `pip install agentshield-spend`

### Covered Rule Types (9)
transaction_limit, daily_total, velocity, merchant_allowlist, category_block, session_budget, cascade_cost, edge_cases, clean_approval

### How to Submit
1. Write a test case reproducing the bug
2. Post it as a comment on this issue
3. Include: transaction dict, rules list, expected decision, actual decision

- First valid submission wins $1,000 (PayPal/Venmo/crypto)

  3. KPI 3: Publish PyPI v1.2.0 with kill switch. pip install agentshield-spend must include python -m agentshield.kill and python -m agentshield.emergency.

  4. KPI 4: Post the $1,000 bounty as a GitHub issue. Not a web page. A real issue with the bounty label.

  5. The kill switch file already exists and works (agentshield/kill.py). It was tested and found 20 processes in dry-run mode. Don't rewrite it, just package and deploy it.

  6. Never mention cron. Never touch memory. Never fabricate. Sign as "Maryan K."

  7. The "Mirrors vs Seatbelts" framing is the most important narrative shift. It positions AgentShield as the active safety layer vs passive observability. Every conversation from now on uses this framing.

  8. Version 1.2.0 is the release that includes the kill switch. This is the version that makes AgentShield mandatory infrastructure, not optional tooling.
